What are we building

We are developing a platform which will help our field operations team to effectively manage their task, capture cultivation logs from million plus hectares of paddy fields, effectively manage the supply chain of agri-inputs and aggregate third party services required during the lifecycle of paddy fields.

The Current tech stack includes React Native for mobile applications, ReactJs for web app powered by Rest APIs developed with JAVA using Spring and Hibernate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with paddy buyers, farmer group leaders, and other on-field stakeholders to implement, assess, and monitor farming practices.
• Build and nurture relationships to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
• Drive business growth across a large area by managing Junior Agronomists (JA) and achieving revenue and operational targets.
• Open new potential areas for business expansion and guide Junior Agronomists in capitalizing on these opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to AWD (Alternate Wetting and Drying) practices and compliance in farming operations.
• Monitor and enhance revenue streams generated by Junior Agronomists.
• Evaluate and onboard new aggregators to strengthen operational efficiency and business opportunities.
• Negotiate with aggregators to optimize business outcomes in the assigned region.
• Develop strategies to help Junior Agronomists meet their performance targets.
• Provide mentorship, training, and hands-on guidance to field teams to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in agronomy, agribusiness, or field operations, preferably in rice farming.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder management and territory operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of farming practices, revenue management, and compliance standards.
• Results-oriented with a passion for agricultural innovation and sustainability.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Familiarity with local farming ecosystems and practices is advantageous.
• Must be domiciled in the Pekalongan area.
