The Role

We are seeking a visionary and operationally agile CEO to lead both our Fertilizer and Waste-to-Renewable Energy business units. This role requires entrepreneurial leadership, cross-sector expertise, and the ability to scale early-stage operations into commercially viable, high-impact businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement long-term growth strategies for both divisions

Analyze market trends and disruptions to drive innovation and expansion

Lead M&A, fundraising, and strategic partnerships with investors, corporates, and government

Align sustainability initiatives with national and global green transition frameworks

Product & Technology Leadership

Guide R&D and innovation in fertilizer formulation and biomass-to-hydrogen conversion (gasification, pyrolysis, electrolysis)

Lead product-market fit strategies and scalable go-to-market planning

Ensure end-to-end supply chain optimization across raw material sourcing, production, and distribution

Operational Excellence

Oversee financial, operational, and risk management of both business lines

Implement digital transformation and lean management principles

Ensure environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance

Lead early-stage company build-out including staffing, systems, and processes

Build and nurture a high-performance, values-driven culture

Attract, develop, and retain talent aligned with organizational vision

Inspire innovation, accountability, and purpose across teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Agriculture, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred

8+ years in senior leadership, including direct P&L responsibility and scaling early-stage companies

Expertise in one or both sectors:

Organic fertilizer or waste-to-resource industries

Clean energy technologies, especially hydrogen, biomass, or carbon solutions

Experience in managing cross-functional operations, investment, and stakeholder engagement

Proven track record in business innovation, sustainability, and strategic partnerships

Strong commercial mindset with technical understanding and regulatory fluency

Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia preferred

Willingness to be based in Indonesia and travel as needed
