Company Overview:
Padma Medical Group is a clinic-based health provider, mainly providing employment-related medical evaluations for Indonesian Overseas Workers (TKI). We also manage the care of several hundred patients per year in the local medical system for both local and expat communities.

Position Overview:

The Staff IT job we are looking to fill has broad scope. We need some help managing/updating existing APIs across various platforms, managing vendors who are developing custom applications, and managing onsite and cloud-based network infrastructure. The best candidate for this role will have some experience in at least one of these areas with an appetite to learn the others. Healthcare experience is not required. Candidates that can demonstrate attention to detail (via well laid out, efficient and well-commented code), responsibility consistent with their broad credentials into our secure operating environment, and curiosity/ambition to continue to grow will have the greatest chance of success.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience in one of the following fields (Software Development, Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Network Architecture)
  • S1 degree from a technical university or equivalent
  • Fluent (working fluency) in bahasa Indonesia and bahasa Inggris
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve on the fly
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately safeguard data security
  • Self-motivated and autonomous
  • Curiosity to learn new things and challenge yourself
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Ability to interact well with others

Job Duties:

  • IT System Maintenance
  • Maintain and extend compute infrastructure strategy and tactics in both the on-premise and in-cloud environments
  • Maintain and extend network infrastructure - primarily utilizing the Unifi environment
  • Maintain and extend existing software (SaaS) solutions – including integration activities
  • Program preventative maintenance and Disaster Recovery Protocol for all critical systems
  • Develop a Disaster Recovery Program – which includes step-by-step actionable steps in non-technical terms, a redundancy plan for critical systems, a threat assessment (tbd vectors), network access policy, security policy, audit policy – and frequency per threat surface
  • Execute hardware replacement with the support of the growth team (set up images to support quick (warm swap) interchanges)
  • Periodic user audits (use and access) – to be defined together
  • Help Desk Support
  • Be available from 8a – 8p (target 15 min SLA) Monday-Friday in case of network or application outages (debug, restart etc.)
  • Be available as part of an on-call team on Saturday/Sunday in case something comes up (team SLA = 2 hours)
  • Be available to help troubleshoot access/PC and other usability issues during normal working hours while at the office
  • Assist logistics team with executing hardware upgrade policy
  • Project Work – the core of the job will be focused on project-related work which will evolve in both scope and independence as competency and reliability are demonstrated. Some examples are included below, but are not an exhaustive list – the focus will be updated periodically.
  • Support transmedic implementation (focus on roles and reporting elements initially)
  • Conduct access audit for AWS and Open VPN infrastructure
  • Zoho integrations – familiarized with Zoho custom workflows and add some edge case catching on use (particularly the Billing -> Xendit integration)
  • SEO optimization for Padma Care sub-site

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard patient and employee information, ensuring it is not shared (intentionally or unintentionally) with any external parties
  • Keep a consistent backup archive, so that errors can be reversed with minimal damage
  • Report to the atasan immediately if anything unexpected or unanswerable occurs
  • Communicate proactively with all staff around updates and outages
  • Always seek to understand the systems and infrastructure before making or proposing to make changes
  • Follow the other regulations of the business as are applicable to this role
  • Safeguard IT (high level) access to various applications to ensure security is maintained
  • Communicate early, often, and repeatedly to ensure collaboration and the benefit of the existing internal knowledge in the company
  • Make recommendations for improvements as you see them, without fear of reprisal or retribution – as long as ‘what is best for the company’ is the core priority.
