About the role

SPS Corporate is seeking an experienced Mill Head to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Ngoro. As the Mill Head, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. What you'll be doing

1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the mill's production, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring operations.
2. Oversee maintenance and improvement of production equipment and processes.
3. Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
4. Provide leadership and guidance to the mill team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
6. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall plant performance.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in industrial goods production or molding fibers.
2. Strong technical skills and understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance practices.
3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
4. Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all organizational levels.
6. Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
