Job Description
- Lead the development and execution of data-driven affiliate marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives, including creating clear program guidelines and setting commission structures that incentivize desired actions (sales, leads).
- Oversee the affiliate marketing budget, allocate resources across different partner types and product categories, and identify and recruit new affiliate partners while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, networks, and agencies.
- Develop and optimize the affiliate marketing program, ensuring clarity in program guidelines and effective incentive structures.
- Track and analyze affiliate program performance using data insights to identify top-performing partners, optimize program elements, and improve areas for growth.
- Use data-driven approaches to refine commission structures, payouts, and incentives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Martech, analytics, legal, growth, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of the affiliate program with other marketing initiatives and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain high standards for affiliate creative assets and promotional materials.
- Manage a team of affiliate marketing specialists, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to achieve shared goals.
- Generate regular performance reports for stakeholders, clearly communicating campaign ROI and insights.
- Explain complex data insights in an understandable way for non-technical audiences.
Lead technical affiliate integration initiatives across cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Graduate from a reputable university with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Math, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in affiliate marketing or partnership roles, with a proven track record of managing successful programs and driving revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Experience with affiliate tracking platforms (e.g., Partnerize, CJ Affiliate) is preferred.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Product management experience is a plus.
