Job Objectives

• Supervise job duties of Customs Operation Specialist

Job Duties

• Coordinate and monitor Custom Clearance day-to-day activities
• Maintain contact/correspondence with consignee for incomplete/missing documents
• Responsible for KPI achievements by monitoring daily operations performance team/vendor reviews
• Define HS number
• Ensure that the three layers of checking of the customs declaration process are carried out: PIB drafter (first layer), customer (second layer), and PPJK/Ahli Kepabeanan (third layer), refer to Procedure DGF_ID_CDZ-01_V2.00 Customs Clearance
• Responsible for cargo clearance status
• Ensure to maintain delivery of goods in coordination with Customer Service
• Inform the customs clearance progress/status and special requirements to consignee, if any
• Responsible for solving shipment/cargo problems (e.g., pilferage, damage)
• Continuously inform superior and relevant functional units of occurrences within his/her area of responsibility
• Monitor the collection of documents from third parties
• Maintain relationships with customers
• Lead daily morning briefings
• Monitor timestamps on Cargowise1
• Inform and socialize regulations related to customs clearance
• Comply with Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Business Continuity Management Systems procedures and regulations, and participate in their programs

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant field; Master's degree is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking
• Adequate computer literacy and proficiency
• All technical competencies and skills required for the position
• Clean criminal record and adherence to ethical standards
