Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute commercial strategies to meet revenue targets and drive business growth.
Manage daily air freight operations in all aspects including cargo planning and cargo claims.
Maintain good working relationships with customers, agents, and airlines to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in the airfreight and logistics industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Oversee the commercial operations, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team in achieving their targets.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and commercial activities for senior management.
Responsible for cost management and overall business solution.
Review the department performance and results.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven broad commercial and operational experience in the Air Cargo sector.
Possess a strong knowledge and network in the region.
Capable of independently expanding the air freight department and increasing profitability.
Good understanding of the transportation industry, particularly international air freight, shipping specifics, and related cost and revenue drivers.
Good analytical skills.
Proven track record of sales in a similar role in the air freight forwarding industry.
