Job description

Ensuring the preparatory and construction process of Home Partner houses achieve results that align with the organization's vision and mission; ensure compliance with local government regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure job safety for all workers and volunteers during housing construction.
2. Provide construction design, including technical drawings, construction specifications, bill of quantities, and a time schedule.
3. Manage budgets and planning effectively.
4. Provide basic construction training tailored for the community.
5. Monitor material quality and ensure construction implementation meets standards.
6. Responsible for all Habitat equipment needed for the construction process.
7. Prepare project reports.
8. Manage construction staff, including foremen and laborers.
9. Engage with the community to promote understanding of decent and safe housing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• Skills in construction design, budget management, and planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp and MS Office.
• Good human relations and a servanthood attitude at all levels.
• Experience or exposure to NGO work is a plus.
• Language proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferably non-management staff specializing in Civil/Construction/Structural Engineering.
• Preferably domiciled in NTT, Kab. Sabu Raijua.
