Job description

Develop and implement trade marketing plans aligned with brand objectives and sales targets.

Design promotional campaigns (e.g., discounts, bundling, point-of-sale activations) to boost product demand.

Collaborate with sales teams to ensure flawless execution of trade programs in key accounts (supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, etc.).

Ensure optimal shelf placement, POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials) deployment, and compliance with planograms.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends to recommend actionable insights.

Conduct store audits to assess brand visibility and merchandising standards.

Tailor trade marketing initiatives for different channels (modern trade, traditional trade, e-commerce).

Work with distributors and retailers to negotiate promotional spaces (e.g., endcaps, display racks).

Manage trade marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective spending.

Track ROI of promotions and provide post-campaign reports with sales analysis.

Liaise with Brand Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to align trade activities with product launches and inventory plans.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: 2–3 years in trade marketing, sales, or merchandising (FMCG Snacking & Drink preferred).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in trade marketing tools

Knowledge of POSM design and production processes.

Soft Skills:

Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
