Job Mission

This role aims to build brand personality and consumer trust within the run, bike, dive, golf, and wellness segments, leading to increased awareness and company performance. The role involves representing Garmin as the face and voice of the company, managing community communications online and in-person, identifying market opportunities, and executing multi-channel campaigns and sports events to foster segment growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in planning and executing community initiatives and programs.
  2. Build relationships with communities, athletes, and influencers in running, cycling, diving, golf, and wellness.
  3. Gather and relay community feedback to management and stakeholders.
  4. Support and oversee sports events in relevant segments.
  5. Identify new marketing and outreach opportunities to enhance brand image and promote products.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and hot topics.
  7. Support localization and translation of marketing materials.
  8. Assist the marketing team with daily administrative tasks.
  9. Undertake ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • At least 2 years of experience in offline events.
  • Fluent in English and Indonesian; Chinese is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic about running, cycling, diving, golf, or wellness, with familiarity with Garmin products preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of smart wearables.
  • Skills in design software such as Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.
