Scope of Work and Position Overview

IIX seeks a Gender Equality (GE) Advisor or Gender Specialist to work with various IIX program tools, ensuring GE integration in all activities of the IIRI project in Indonesia. The GE or Gender Specialist will coordinate with the GAC specialist on gender issues related to the project. This is a full-time consulting role, starting from the project planning phase.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on gender-related matters using analytical frameworks such as GAC’s gender-based analysis (GBA) and IIX’s proprietary gender lens investing (GLI) framework.
• Contribute to developing gender-sensitive interventions to increase awareness among social impact businesses (SIBs) and capital providers in Indonesia.
• Support designing and implementing gender-related training and capacity-building activities for ecosystem stakeholders.
• Define and expand on terms like gender-sensitive, gender-responsive, and gender-transformative in project proposals.
• Lead the assessment of gender impact and develop measurement tools aligned with IIX Values.
• Monitor and evaluate all gender indicators within the Project Performance Framework.
• Coordinate with the GAC team to ensure compliance with policies on gender integration.
• Participate in meetings to review progress and address gender challenges.
• Perform other relevant duties as required.
