Job Summary:
The Liner & NVOCC Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and developing strong relationships with existing clients within the liner shipping and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) sectors. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the maritime transportation industry, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities. The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting the company's services, achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential new clients in the liner shipping and NVOCC markets within the assigned territory.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
Generate leads through various methods, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients.
Negotiate service agreements and contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Provide accurate and timely information to internal teams regarding customer requirements and expectations.
Work with the pricing department to develop competitive and profitable rate structures for clients.
Contribute to the development of marketing materials and sales strategies.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the liner shipping and/or NVOCC industry.
Strong understanding of liner shipping operations, NVOCC services, freight forwarding processes, and relevant industry regulations.
Established network of contacts within the shipping and logistics industry in South Jakarta and the surrounding region is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
