JOB DESCRIPTION

ISBM was established in 1992 by a well-known NGO Aeron Foundation. It is also ranked among the top ten International B-Schools that provide management courses through correspondence. ISBM has over 100 specializations and management courses to choose from. ISBM is an NGO working its way to reaching towards people in the most distant corners of not only India but the world in providing correspondence courses in the management field, with specially designed courses for working professionals; from Diploma in management courses to the Doctorate and Laureate level.

Job Overview:

Admissions counselors work collaboratively with the admissions office to review incoming applications, verify applicant information and materials, and provide assistance in making final approvals for college admission. We have an opening for the post of Education Counselor.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for converting leads, lead generation, and regular follow-ups to prospect leads for sales.
  • Sell online courses and achieve daily sales targets.
  • Update databases and use a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Handle inquiries and get enrollments done while achieving monthly sales targets through cold calling.
  • Provide in-depth information to prospective learners, including counseling through phone, email, chat, and social media.
  • Identify references through the existing customer base to increase the sales pipeline.
  • Update details pertaining to lead discussions and conversions in real-time on CRM software.
  • Adhere to the inside sales process, tools, and data management.
  • Meet and overachieve the given weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets in terms of revenue as well as the number of enrollments.
  • Handle objections and price negotiation to generate sales revenue.
  • Maintain effective communication until the learner is on-boarded.
  • Be well-versed with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Sales experience of 1+ year.
  • Preferably from the education sector / EdTech.
  • Excellent active listening and communication skills. Patient, friendly, and accommodating personality.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹22,000.00 per month
