Job Summary

The Cluster Director of Finance is responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, and operations across of four hotels in Java Regions. This role ensures compliance, optimizes financial performance, and supports strategic decision-making while providing financial leadership to the hotel finance teams. The position plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls

JOB DESCRIPTION

Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives across the cluster.
• Advise General Managers and department heads on financial matters to improve performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes for all four properties.

Operational Finance

• Monitor daily operations of the finance departments at each hotel.
• Ensure consistent financial practices and reporting standards across properties.
• Oversee monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and local statutory requirements.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure integrity of financial reporting.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Consolidate and analyze financial reports from all four hotels.
• Present financial insights and performance dashboards to senior management.
• Track and manage KPIs, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, mentor, and develop hotel Financial Controller and their teams.
• Promote cross-property collaboration and best practice sharing.
• Support talent development and succession planning within the finance function.

Cash Flow & Asset Management

• Manage cash flow and working capital for the cluster.
• Ensure effective cost control, revenue assurance, and capital expenditure oversight.
• Review and monitor inventory, procurement, and asset utilization.
