Senior System Analyst (Banking Background)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical System Analyst to assess our IT systems and infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and design efficient technology solutions that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and IT by translating requirements into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and evaluate current IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
2. Gather and document business requirements through meetings, interviews, and observation.
3. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
4. Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements.
5. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed system changes.
6. Create flowcharts, diagrams, and documentation to support system development.
7. Test and validate new systems and modifications to ensure requirements are met.
8. Provide training and support to users and technical teams during and after implementation.
9. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
10. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a System Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, or Scrum methodologies.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of database systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in modeling tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
• Knowledge of programming languages is a plus (e.g., Java).
