We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Sales Manager – Oil & Gas Sector to promote business growth in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in selling industrial valve solutions across the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of the oil & gas industry, with established networks among EPCs, end-users, and key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the oil & gas industry (onshore and offshore).
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with major oil & gas firms, EPC contractors, and engineering consultants.
- Project Pursuit: Monitor and engage with upcoming and ongoing oil & gas projects and tenders.
- Sales Execution: Achieve sales targets and KPIs, ensuring profitable growth.
- Technical Support: Provide pre-sales technical advice and support for valve solutions (ball valves, gate valves, control valves, etc.).
- Proposal & Tendering: Lead the development of commercial proposals and coordinate with internal teams for timely bid submissions.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and secure orders aligned with company policies and profitability goals.
- Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the oil & gas sector.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, forecasts, and opportunities via CRM systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5–7 years of B2B sales experience in the oil & gas sector, preferably with valves or industrial equipment.
- Strong understanding of API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO standards relevant to valves.
- Extensive contacts within Pertamina, SKK Migas, international oil companies (IOCs), and major EPCs in Indonesia.
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-value sales cycles and technical solutions.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Willing to travel frequently across Indonesia, including offshore and remote locations.
- Experience with international valve brands or OEMs is preferred.
- Knowledge of oil & gas procurement, SKK Migas vendor systems, and e-procurement platforms.
- Understanding of HSE regulations and oilfield operational procedures.
