Job Description:

1. Ensure that day-to-day NDE activities performed by the NDE technician fully comply with the approved NDE Procedure, SOP, or project specifications.
2. Provide briefing and orientation to NDE personnel regarding the requirements of the work order related to their position and assignment.
3. Ensure a full understanding of all applicable NDE procedures for each project concerning inspection and reporting.
4. Monitor the valid calibration of NDE equipment.
5. Calibrate NDE equipment before starting the inspection.
6. Highlight any non-conformance of the NDE process to the approved methodology and procedures, and issue an NCR.
7. Coordinate with the NDE superintendent regarding any non-compliance in the NDE process.
8. Promote the implementation of BIQ within the shop floor.
9. Wear all PPE as directed.
