Job Description
Position Overview: The (Senior) Productivity Tools Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing, analyzing, and optimizing enterprise applications for productivity to meet the business needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting, software configuration, application support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal application performance and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Support & Maintenance:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for enterprise applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating to vendors or development teams as necessary.
- Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure applications remain up-to-date and secure.
- Requirements Analysis & Documentation:
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements for new or existing applications.
- Document system requirements, workflows, and configuration changes for future reference and training purposes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications to guide system configurations and customizations.
- System Configuration & Customization:
- Configure and customize enterprise applications to meet business needs.
- Work with technical teams to implement complex application changes, enhancements, and integrations.
- Ensure that applications are aligned with best practices and standards.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Plan and execute functional and integration testing for application changes or new implementations.
- Validate and ensure that solutions meet the business requirements and quality standards.
- Document testing results and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:
- Work closely with IT, development teams, and business units to ensure seamless application performance.
- Provide training and support to end users on application features and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights and feedback on application capabilities.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor application performance and usage metrics to identify improvement areas.
- Recommend and implement performance enhancements.
- Generate reports on application usage, issues, and performance.
- Incident & Problem Management:
- Manage incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.
- Project Management:
- Lead or assist in application projects, upgrades, and migrations.
- Ensure timely delivery and scope management.
- Coordinate with project managers on resources and timelines.
Requirements
- Experiences: Managing and performing administrator tasks in:
- - Office 365
- - Lark Wiki and Confluence
- - Jira Software
Experience with scripting and programming:
- - Shell scripting
- - PowerShell scripting
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
