Job Description

1. Oversee company-owned fleet operations, ensuring proper maintenance and efficiency. Manage the maintenance team to minimize downtime and costs.
2. Handle both domestic and international shipments, ensuring smooth inland transportation and proper coordination with freight forwarders.
3. Manage revenue, costs, billing, and collections while ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their logistics needs and ensuring high service standards.
5. Oversee logistics at major ports and airports, ensuring smooth cargo movement and compliance with regulations.
6. Implement and uphold safety standards for fleet operations, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
7. Monitor and improve day-to-day logistics operations to enhance service quality and reduce inefficiencies.

The Successful Applicant

1. Proven experience in logistics, trucking, and fleet management, including maintenance oversight.
2. Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, both domestic and international.
3. Understanding of port and airport logistics, including regulations and processes.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, especially in handling operational teams.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to daily logistics challenges.
6. A minimum of 8 years in the Logistics Industry
