Commercial Finance Manager (Construction/Civil)
Increase efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability by managing team productivity, costs, and budgets on time and within budget (for projects with double-digit margins).
Implement engineering innovations to reduce costs and enhance client experience.
Manage project accounting databases to ensure security and control.
Plan strategic initiatives for high-risk projects and estimate task durations accurately.
Update daily progress reports and communicate via email to the Project Coordinator.
Gather and record concerns from field activities that might delay project completion.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Create and maintain financial models to forecast revenue and expenses.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual performance.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
Pricing Strategy:
- Determine optimal pricing for products and services to maximize profitability.
- Analyze market competition and pricing trends.
Contract Negotiation:
- Review and negotiate contract terms with clients and vendors to ensure favorable financial conditions.
Working Capital Management:
- Optimize management of accounts receivable and inventory to improve cash flow.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks associated with business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex financial information.
- Understanding of business operations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Cost Controlling & Analysis:
- Liaise with Procurement, Accounting, Corporate Technology, and related departments to develop cost control procedures and ensure governance integration into procurement systems.
- Prepare periodic cost analysis reports for senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations on company expenditure, productivity, and cost savings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance Management or Accounting from a reputable university.
- At least 5 years of experience in civil projects, preferably involving M&A deal advisory or corporate planning and budgeting.
- Self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Mature, eager to learn, and willing to contribute.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of ANAPLAN is a plus.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
