Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Guide the end-to-end design process for your product area from discovery to delivery, ensuring a high standard of UX and UI design.
2. Lead, coach, and support a team of product designers, helping them grow in craft and career.
3. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to define problem spaces, co-create solutions, and deliver value to users.
4. Champion the use of design systems to ensure scalable and consistent experiences across platforms.
5. Leverage user insights and data to drive decisions and improve usability, accessibility, and satisfaction.
6. Set a high bar for design execution, providing thoughtful feedback to enhance the team's output quality.
7. Contribute to improving design processes and rituals, enabling the team to work more effectively in fast-paced environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in product design, with 2–3 years in a leadership or people management role.
• Proven success in mentoring and managing designers, focusing on growth, inclusion, and team well-being.
• Ability to translate complex problems into simple, elegant user experiences that drive impact.
• Comfort working cross-functionally and navigating ambiguity with product and engineering partners.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating deep user understanding, visual design skills, and knowledge of design systems.
• Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with the ability to prioritize and pivot as needed.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present work, rationale, and strategic thinking effectively.
