Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Interact with sales, marketing, and customers to understand demand forecast drivers.
2. Review historical sales trends and develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
3. Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
4. Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
5. Communicate forecast and inventory estimations effectively to management.
6. Monitor and report on significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
7. Conduct monthly demand and forecast meetings.
8. Address demand-related issues promptly and effectively.
9. Provide input to the Supply Planning organization for developing inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or relevant fields.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting roles.
3. Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
7. Willing to be located in East Jakarta.
