Plant Procurement Manager
Location: Reynosa

Contract Type: Full-time

Job Description:

Are you a passionate leader in procurement and process optimization? Join our team at Schneider Electric and be part of an innovative and growing company! We are looking for a Procurement Manager responsible for delivering on procurement initiatives and KPI’s for the plant.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deploy the Annual Procurement Operation Plan (APOP) for the plant.
  2. Build and lead a high-performance procurement team for the plant.
  3. Manage the procurement team to deliver on material productivity KPI’s through various levers: negotiation, Change of Supplier (COS), Quality Value Engineering (QVE), and/or Supply Base Optimization (SBO).
  4. Ensure a high level of engagement with the business to build and execute a procurement plan that meets the needs of the business.
  5. Coordinate effectively with Regional and Global category teams to formulate and execute category initiatives.
  6. Close coordination with Finance for AOC (Analysis of Change) alignment and developing actions where variances exist.

Required Competencies:

  1. Proven experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced environment.
  2. Highly experienced in supplier negotiations.
  3. Project management experience.
  4. High level of problem-solving skills.
  5. Innovative and customer-focused.
  6. Experienced in digitization.
  7. Strong leadership capacities.
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration.
  2. Minimum 7-10 years of direct experience in procurement/sourcing (direct material) with at least 2-3 years in a managerial position.
  3. Very good command of English.
  4. High proficiency in MS Office.
  5. Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
