Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Distributor Medical Device Company. Our client is seeking a Sales Manager IVD position. This job will be based in Surabaya, Indonesia:
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) sales activities in East Java, Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi, and Kalimantan to ensure achievement of sales targets and growth.
- Develop and execute territory-specific strategies to expand market share, increase customer base, and drive revenue growth in line with company objectives.
- Manage, coach, and support the regional sales team (including area sales, application, and distributor personnel) to ensure performance, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including hospitals, labs, clinics, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), and procurement units.
- Coordinate with marketing and product management teams to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and educational programs in the assigned region.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory developments in the diagnostics field; provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Oversee channel/distributor performance, including target setting, training, motivation, and compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and territory analysis on a regular basis to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in sales of IVD or medical devices, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of IVD market dynamics and customer needs in the assigned territories.
- Proven track record in achieving/exceeding sales targets, managing key accounts, and developing new business.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills; able to coach and lead cross-functional sales teams or distributor networks.
- Strong network with KOLs, hospitals, clinical labs, and government/private healthcare institutions in East Indonesia.
- Proficient in sales pipeline management, strategic planning, and territory development.
