A leading engineering firm in Batam seeks an Electrical Engineer to supervise electrical works in water and wastewater treatment projects. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of three years of relevant experience, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Must know how to handle Client and Electrical sub-con
• Must know how to coordinate with other discipline not only Electrical team.
• Must have experience in E-House fabrication works.
• Knowledgeable in Cable Tray/Ladder installation, Lighting and HVAC/F&G devices.
• Manage to work independently.
• Familiar with some Testing for Lighting , hvac and f&g.
• Familiar with material withdrawal in warehouse and MTO if necessary.
• Ensuring safety, compliance, and quality, while also managing projects,
• Monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure projects stay on track.
• Supervise electricians, providing guidance and direction as needed.
• Ensure that all electrical systems and equipment meet industry regulations and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensure the quality of electrical work by inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Control and Instrumentation or related fields.
• Min. 3 years’ experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Know-how of basic electrical starters and VFD design knowledge.
• Know-how of electrical cable sizing, voltage drop, cable gland sizing and cable schedule.
• Know-how of overcurrent protection device sizing and selection.
• Know-how of electrical equipment and instruments installation.
• Good skills in E&I troubleshooting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• General computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
• Good team player. Can work with others harmoniously.
• Willing to learn new activities.
• Willing to travel overseas at short notice
