A leading company seeks an E-commerce and Marketplace Specialist to manage online sales platforms and enhance customer experiences. Responsibilities include overseeing product listings, monitoring inventory, executing marketing campaigns, and managing affiliate programs, ensuring the successful operation of e-commerce channels.
The E-commerce and Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for managing online sales platforms, analyzing sales data, and enhancing customer experiences. The day-to-day tasks include overseeing product listings, monitoring inventory, implementing sales strategies, and addressing customer inquiries. The role requires close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to ensure the seamless operation and growth of our e-commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, manage and optimize product listings (image, descriptions, prices, keywords)
Set up campaigns, discounts, and promotional tools within each platform
Track competitor activities, pricing and product trends
Monitor order fulfillment and work with logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
Own online store Management (Shopify)
Maintain and update the online store regularly with new arrivals, promotions, banners and content
Ensure user-friendy navigation, mobile responsiveness, and up-to-date SEO practices
Track store performance using Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and store dashboards
Troubleshoot issues related to checkout, user experience or product availbaility
Affiliate Program Management:
Set up and manage affiliate programs (via TikTok Affiliate, Shopee Affiliate, etc)
Recruit and onboard new affiliates or KOLs to promote products
Track affiliate performance, commission structures and ROI
Maintain communication with affiliates to encourage continuous engagement and performance
Coordinate with marketing team to plan regular live stream sessions to introduce products, promotions and seasonal launches.
Prepare key selling points, product highlights, promo codes, and set designs
Track viewership, engagement and conversion from live sessions
Collaborate with influencers when needed.
Campaign Execution & Ads Optimization:
Plan and run marketing campaigns (platform-wide sales, product launches, brand anniversary promos)
Set up and monitor marketplace ads (Shopess Ads, Tokopedia Ads, TikTok Ads, etc)
Coordinate with the marketing team to drive traffic from social media and email to the store/marketplaces
Monitor ad performance and adjust targeting, creatives, and bidding strategies for higher ROI.
Customer Support:
Respond to product inquiries, order issues and reviews across all platforms.
Manage returns, exchanges, and follow-up communication efficiently
Coordinate with logistic team for timely delivery
Gather customer feedback and report product-related issues to relevant departments
Content Coordination:
Work with graphic designer and content creators to produce store banners, campaign visuals and product videos
Ensure brand consistency across all digital touch points
Reporting & Analytics:
Track daily/weekly/monthly KPIs: sales, traffic, coversion rates, bounce rates, top products, ad spends, etc
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance
Stay updated with marketplace algorithm changes, e-commerce trends, and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, marketplace management or digital sales
Hands-on experience with platforms like Shopify, Shopee Seller Center, Tokopedia Seller, TikTok Shop.
Familiar with affiliate marketing programs
Good understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and customer funnel strategies
Strong organizational and multitasking and communication skills
Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager or marketplace dashboards
