Job summary

KG Media is seeking a Camera Person to capture high-quality video footage for news segments, live broadcasts, and special features. You will work with reporters, editors, and producers to ensure the visual narrative supports the story and operate camera equipment on location for breaking news, live reports, interviews, and events.

The role requires a journalism-related degree, 1–2 years of experience (internship acceptable), and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications, or related field.
• 1–2 years of camera experience in news or TV production (fresh graduates with internship welcomed).
• Proficient in operating professional video cameras and familiar with broadcast production software and basic video editing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work shifting hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage for news segments, live broadcasts, and special features with journalistic ethics and standards.
• Work closely with reporters, editors, and producers to ensure the visual narrative supports the story.
• Operate camera equipment on location for breaking news, live reports, interviews, and special events.
• Coordinate with the news production team, reporters, and other staff to meet daily production deadlines.
