Job summary

Global Prestasi School Bandung is seeking an enthusiastic Mandarin Teacher to join our world-class faculty. The role focuses on developing linguistic proficiency and cultural literacy among our students, with responsibilities spanning lesson design, materials development, and fostering a positive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language Education or Chinese Literature, demonstrates Mandarin proficiency (HSK5/6), and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language Education or Chinese Literature.
• HSK Level 5 or 6 proficiency preferred.
• 2–3 years of Mandarin teaching experience.
• Fluency in English to facilitate multicultural communication.
• Familiarity with modern language teaching techniques and interactive technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Mandarin lessons covering listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Develop teaching materials aligned with school standards and proficiency benchmarks (HSK/YCT).
• Organize and lead cultural activities to immerse students in Chinese heritage.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain records of achievement.
• Create a positive, encouraging and disciplined classroom environment that motivates speaking Mandarin.
