We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join Taman Rama School - Taman Mahatma Gandhi Foundation in Denpasar, Bali. This is a full-time position based on-site in our Denpasar location. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and punctual transportation of students, staff, and occasionally guests. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our school, supporting our commitment to providing a secure and nurturing educational environment for our community.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain school vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Transport students to and from school, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
• Follow designated routes and schedules whilst remaining flexible to accommodate school requirementsMaintain a professional and courteous demeanour with students and staff
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and school policies
• Assist with loading and unloading of students and school materials when required

What we're looking for

• Current and valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle class being operated
• Hold Class A and B1 driver's licenses.
• Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a school or passenger transport environment
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions in Denpasar, Bali
• Strong commitment to passenger safety and defensive driving practices
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Ability to remain calm and professional in various traffic and weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to interact positively with students and families
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance basics and ability to perform routine checks
