Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in architectural or civil engineering drafting.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD (2D and 3D).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documents using CAD software and 3D tools.
• Translate sketches and specifications into precise drawings for civil and structural components.
• Conduct site surveys and measurements to verify design information.
• Create shop, assembly, and detail drawings for foundations, structures, and utilities.

About the role

PT. NAHENDRA PUTRA Construction is seeking a skilled Drafter Teknik Sipil (Civil Engineering Drafter) to join our growing design and architecture team. This is a full-time position based in Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. As a Civil Engineering Drafter, you will play a crucial role in translating architectural concepts and engineering designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your work will be fundamental to the successful execution of our construction projects, ensuring that all designs are accurately documented and ready for implementation on site. This role reports directly to the Senior Design Engineer and will involve close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documents using CAD software, 3D Software, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards

Translate architectural sketches and engineering specifications into precise, scale drawings for civil and structural components

Conduct site surveys and measurements to verify design information and identify any discrepancies or site constraints

Create shop drawings, assembly drawings, and detail drawings for various construction elements including foundations, structural frameworks, and utility systems

Maintain and update drawing libraries, ensuring all documentation is organised, accurate, and easily accessible

Collaborate with engineers and architects to refine designs and resolve technical issues during the drafting process

Prepare bills of quantities and material schedules based on technical drawings

Ensure all drawings are properly titled, scaled, and annotated with necessary notes and dimensions

Review and revise drawings based on feedback from supervisors and project teams

Support the preparation of project proposals and tender documentation by providing accurate technical drawings

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline

Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in architectural or civil engineering drafting

Advanced proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD (2D and 3D), with knowledge of design standards and conventions

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, building construction methods, and structural systems

Excellent knowledge of Indonesian building codes, regulations, and construction standards

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) software such as Revit or similar tools is highly desirable

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and technical document management systems
