Job description

• Good communication skills in English both written & spoken

• Structural drafters to support the structural engineers and construction team by preparing construction drawings for structural and architectural work.

• Knowledge of architectural design

• Must know how to operate and draw in AutoCAD

• Relevant job experience in oil and gas/offshore/marine industry required

• Experience and knowledge in drafting different types of steel joints, both welded and bolted

• Proficiency in E3D, Tekla or Revit is a plus

• Certification or training in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) is preferred

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Must know how to operate MS Office (minimum Word and Excel)

• Willing to learn new activities and have a positive attitude

• Ensure that all structural drawings meet industry standards, local regulations, and client specifications.

• Assist engineers in modifying designs, updating drawings, and ensuring that all changes are documented correctly.

• Revise drawings promptly to reflect change orders or adjustments made during project execution.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

• Coordination with Project Managers and Engineers for preparation of technical drawings and submission approval.

• Prepare material take-off.

• Prepare general drawings.

• Prepare shop fabrication drawing for structural steel works (both welded and bolted joints).

• Prepare cutting plan for material procurement.

• Prepare other drawing, fabrication, and installation works as required by QA/QC and Engineers.

• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, including materials, load calculations, and construction techniques specific to the oil and gas industry.

• Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned including related site matters not mentioned above.

• Understand project design, quality, and construction specifications.
