Job summary

Odysee Education in Indonesia is seeking an in-person English teacher for multiple grade levels. The role involves designing lessons, tracking student progress, and providing enrichment as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of teaching experience, an ESL certification (CELTA/TESL/TESOL/TEFL or equivalent), and a relevant degree. Availability for a 10-month contract is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of teaching experience with professional references.
• Hold an ESL teaching certification (CELTA, TESL/TESOL, DELTA, TEFL, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or related field preferred; strong certifications may suffice without a degree.
• Willing to undergo a criminal background check.
• In good health and free from infectious diseases and substance abuse.
• Available to commit for one academic year with a minimum 10-month contract.
• Demonstrates a professional attitude, including punctuality, discipline, attire, and communication.
• Shows a genuine passion for teaching and student development.
• Flexible, collaborative, sociable, and enthusiastic.
• Culturally aware and sensitive in a diverse learning environment.
