Qualifications

• Familiar with dry docking process and documentation.

Job description

As Docking Controller Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards in docking process. Your attention to detail and meticulous approach to quality control will ensure that our vessels are repair to meet with the industry standards.

Job Description :

• Interfaces between Fleet Operation, Shipyard, Workshop, Purchasing & Logistic, Cost Control and SMO Dept.
• Ensuring that the Repair List, Spare Part List, Daily Report, Work Done Report, S Note and Docking Report are carried out safely and to meet with the industry standards.
• Review and monitor dry-dock scope of work and managing dry-dockings execution are carried out properly.
• Review and monitor technical specifications and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Analysis with Technical Asisstant of upcoming shipyard quotations.
• Monitoring shipyard's / docking performance with related parties.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address any quality issues or non-conformities.
• Responsible for all fleet documentation and records during vessel dry-dock process.

  • Bulk Carrier 50.000 - 70.000 DWT
  • Harbour Tug 3.000 - 5.000 HP
  • Flat Top Barge 7.500 DWT

Job Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience acting as Technical Superintendent / Docking Project Leader or in any related function is required for this position in maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and industry standards, especially ISM Code, TMSA, OCIMF, Vetting, etc.
• Familiar with dry docking process and its documentation.
• Experience in leading quality control initiatives in a shipyard environment.
• Proficient in operating Primavera, Ms. Project, AutoCAD, Ansys, Maxsurf.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Organizational and time management skills
• Willing to travel frequently
