Description
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Sales Director (Associate Director / Senior Manager level) to lead and expand the Run-Rate Market in Indonesia. This high-impact leadership role focuses on channel development, distribution strategy, and sales execution, with a strong emphasis on partner engagement, market penetration, and profitability. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IT hardware, networking, and infrastructure sales, paired with a proven ability to grow distribution revenue and optimize market reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust distribution sales strategy tailored to the Indonesian Run-Rate Market.
- Identify new market opportunities to expand product penetration and drive revenue growth.
- Set and manage short- and long-term sales goals aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Strengthen and expand the company’s footprint through strategic partner development.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor movements.
- Provide insights to guide product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
- Anticipate market changes and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage relationships with key distribution partners, resellers, and system integrators.
- Optimize channel performance and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Implement effective distribution models and support partner enablement.
- Set clear KPIs and track partner performance, ensuring accountability and sales excellence.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving consistent performance in the distribution channel.
- Monitor pipeline development and sales conversion metrics.
- Apply corrective actions and support partners in achieving shared revenue targets.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and Run-Rate promotions.
- Leverage digital tools, events, and incentive programs to boost reseller engagement and demand generation.
- Drive brand visibility and product awareness across the channel ecosystem.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing distribution sales team.
- Provide coaching, training, and development programs to enhance capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented, and performance-driven culture.
Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in distribution sales within IT, telecom, or networking sectors.
- Deep understanding of the Run-Rate Market and a proven track record of driving sales success.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, hardware, and networking solutions.
- Strong grasp of distribution models, channel dynamics, and reseller ecosystems.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate insights into action plans.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and partner management skills.
- Experience managing P&L, forecasts, and go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (preferred).
