Job description

Responsibility for achieving the budgeted Distribution Business sales and profit in Indonesia.

Planning, developing, controlling, guiding, and marketing the range of products with Distributors to fully leverage market and profit potential and strengthen market position.

Strategically develop distribution partners to increase Schaeffler’s market share among distributors and end customers.

Support Indonesian distributors in securing contracts from their end customers.

Organize and conduct product and technical events in collaboration with Marketing and Sales MRO teams.

Ensure the availability and utilization of sales-related infrastructure (tools, systems, processes, services, partnerships).

Prepare market analyses, including SWOT analysis of Schaeffler Sales & Service and competitors.

Drive the implementation of the Partner End-Users Sales program to increase Schaeffler's market share in Indonesia.

Support the JSEAP Management in developing and improving the mid- and long-term strategy (Roadmap).

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial sectors and at least 5 years in distribution or channel management dealing with industrial parts or components.
  • Qualified engineer (university or applied sciences) with a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Industry-specific knowledge, sales experience, and familiarity with field sales and operational procedures.
  • SAP and PC system knowledge.
  • Strong skills in managing complex matters, conflict resolution, negotiation, and interpersonal relations.
  • Leadership qualities, cultural sensitivity, and results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and outside-the-box thinking skills.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and developing strategies.
  • Technical sales or support experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and local dialects.
