Job Summary:

Lead in proper cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishes, pots/pans, utensils, and glassware.

The Details:

• Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
• Pay: $16.40 per hour
• Schedule: Typically 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including the back dock area.
• Proper storage and rotation of all perishable and non-perishable food items using FIFO.
• Keep the back dock orderly and clean, including stacking crates, breaking down boxes, and spraying down the dock.
• Ensure the outside kitchen area is clean and litter-free.
• Conduct deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors, mats, walls, hood filters, and dish machines.
• Assist Kitchen Utility personnel as needed.
• Maintain ServeSafe HACCP standards for food sanitation.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Follow all safety and risk management policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dishwashing and kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to thirty pounds to shoulder height.
