The company:

Our client is a famous conglomerate with revenues of more than USD 20 billion (mostly from retail) and over 100,000 staff. They have a modern and meritocratic management style with many international managers. This is NOT a family business. The culture is respectful and lifestyle is much better than in consulting.

They are a market leader and are particularly strong in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Vietnam. They have established a strong team with many ex-top-tier Consultants that is driving their digital transformation. This is the highest priority for their top management.

The position:

You will work on 3 main topics:

1. Build digital capabilities internally.
2. Incubate new digital ventures, from idea until implementation.
3. Drive digital transformation initiatives across various business and functions.

This is an ideal role for a consultant who wants to join one of the leading conglomerates in Asia.

Requirements:

• Experience in a top-tier consulting firm is a MUST. In addition, work experience in-house is a strong plus.
• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier school is a must; MBA would be a plus.
• Functional experience: mix of strategy and digital transformation experience.
• 6-9 years total work experience, at least half of which must have been in Indonesia. Ideal would be 1.5-3 years post-MBA experience (or equivalent). If currently in Consulting, your title should be Engagement Manager equivalent.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Hands-on mentality and ‘getting things done’ attitude.
• Experience in retail/consumer-oriented industries and/or startups is preferred. Automotive experience is also relevant.
• Fluent English AND Bahasa Indonesia is a MUST.
