Responsibilities (Text Only)
- Sales Execution: Engage in conversations with customers aligned to their industry, collaborate with account and partner teams to drive and qualify new opportunities, and build pipeline.
- Identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively map external stakeholders, implement strategies to accelerate deal closing, contribute input on strategies for prioritized opportunities, coach junior team members, and execute close plans.
- Business Value Selling: Hunt for new security opportunities by engaging with key business contacts and partners, understanding customers’ business and technology priorities, governance, decision, and budget processes, and presenting value propositions.
- Scaling and Collaboration: Apply role orchestration models and navigate the Microsoft organization to maximize impact for customers.
- Collaborate with Global Partner Solutions (GPS): Identify new partners, develop joint proposals, and contribute to partner strategy development.
- Technical Expertise: Initiate security discussions with business decision makers, share best practices and competitor knowledge, act as a subject matter expert, and participate in events and conversations to promote solutions.
- Collaborate with internal 'compete' SMEs to analyze competitor solutions and strategize accordingly.
- Sales Excellence: Work with partners and resources to plan accounts, conduct competitive analysis, forecast, and analyze business potential.
- Demonstrate a learning mentality by investing in personal growth in the cybersecurity domain.
- Deliver Results Through Teamwork: Drive project execution, collaborate across teams, and leverage work streams for success.
Qualifications (Text Only)
- Minimum of 6+ years in technology-related sales or account management, or a Bachelor's Degree in related fields with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in cybersecurity industry and knowledge of Microsoft security portfolio preferred.
- Proven ability to sell complex, cloud-based solutions to enterprise and SME customers.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and technical security conversation skills.
- Experience managing channel sales.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- 8+ years of relevant experience or advanced degrees with relevant experience.
- Solution sales or consulting experience, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- High performance and collaborative mindset.
- Growth mindset and purposeful planning abilities.
- Discipline in pipeline management and forecasting.
- Technical breadth in cloud, hybrid infrastructures, and security technologies; certifications like AZ-900 or SC-900 preferred.
- Experience with complex sales methodologies and certifications.
