Job Description – Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist:
The Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies and managing the company’s social media presence to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads. This role involves creating compelling content, managing paid advertising campaigns, analyzing performance data, and ensuring that all digital activities support the company’s marketing objectives. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, email marketing, and other online channels.
- Manage, create, and schedule content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase brand presence and audience engagement.
- Monitor social media trends, user engagement, and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop social media strategies including content planning, posting schedules, community engagement, and influencer collaborations.
- Create compelling copy, visuals, and multimedia content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Optimize websites and content for SEO to improve organic visibility and search rankings.
- Analyze digital campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other analytics platforms.
- Manage paid ads (PPC and social ads) to drive traffic, conversions, and brand visibility.
- Respond to audience interactions and manage online reputation across social platforms.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on digital marketing and social media trends, best practices, algorithms, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Deep understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms and their algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Canva/Adobe tools, and social media management platforms.
- Excellent writing, communication, and creative storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under deadlines.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related field.
- Proven experience creating and managing social media content and calendars.
- Demonstrated experience running paid ads (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads).
- Experience analyzing performance metrics and optimizing campaigns based on insights.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and community management is a plus.
- Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, MOZ) and basic knowledge of web analytics is an advantage.
