Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, Biology, or Life Sciences required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge or experience in pharma; knowledge in diagnostics preferred.
• Strong ability to engage and manage stakeholders internally and externally.
• Familiarity with legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific leadership for AstraZeneca in diagnostics.
• Provide educational support on diagnostic tests to medical professionals.
• Train sales teams on scientific and diagnostic knowledge.
• Review product materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to medical queries related to AstraZeneca compounds and diagnostics.
• Engage key external scientific leaders and build trust-based relationships.
• Develop or initiate scientific programs addressing unmet medical needs.
• Serve as scientific expert on priority disease areas for internal stakeholders.
• Stay current with company-focused disease areas and regulatory guidelines.
