Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and scaling of applications.
2. Integrate security practices into DevOps processes from development to production.
3. Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools for secure environment provisioning and configuration.
4. Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and code reviews to identify and mitigate risks early.
5. Maintain security controls and monitoring in cloud and on-premises environments.
6. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to align security goals with business objectives.
7. Research and evaluate emerging security technologies and best practices.
8. Guide teams on security best practices, tools, and techniques.
9. Create documentation including standards, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
10. Participate in client technical discussions as required.
11. Support operations on-call rotation and infrastructure improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.
3. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
4. Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
5. Cloud platform management experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
6. Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
7. Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
8. Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL frameworks and documentation standards.
11. Good communication skills in English.
12. Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are a plus.
13. Previous software engineering experience and managing large-scale servers are advantageous.
