Job summary

Rey.id, a technology-driven health and life insurer in Indonesia, is seeking interns to help build and maintain infrastructure for its web and mobile applications.

Under guidance of senior engineers, you will assist with daily operations, deployments, and monitoring, and you will learn to automate releases. This mentored role offers exposure to Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and monitoring tools like Grafana, with a focus on learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Basic Linux and CLI knowledge.
• Familiarity with Docker; exposure to Kubernetes is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud environments.
• Willingness to learn in mentored environment.

Job Description:

Support the team in building and maintaining infrastructure for our web and mobile applications.

Assist with day-to-day operations, deployments, and monitoring under the guidance of senior engineers.

Learn and contribute to automating and improving our release.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Basic understanding of Linux and command-line fundamentals.

Familiarity with containerization concepts (e.g. Docker); exposure to Kubernetes is a plus.

Some exposure to at least one cloud environment (GCP, AWS, of Alicloud)

Eagerness to learn CI/CD, orchestration (GKE/EKS), and monitoring tools like Grafana

Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn in mentored environment.

Additional Value:

Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) - building, integrating, or operating MCP servers/tools.

Demonstrated adoption of AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows (e.g. AI-assisted coding, automation, and operational tooling).
