We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our infrastructure and drive the next phase of platform scalability and reliability. You’ll play a critical role in automating workflows, optimising performance, and integrating AI-driven tools to elevate our developer experience and system resilience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build & Automate for Scale: Design, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) to support rapid and reliable code deployment. You will champion automation across our infrastructure to help us scale efficiently as we target 5x user growth.
• Manage & Optimise Infrastructure: Take ownership of our cloud (GCP) and bare-metal infrastructure, including Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Storage, Load Balancers, and networking hardware (Mikrotik, NAS). Your goal will be to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications.
• Enhance System Observability: Implement and manage modern observability systems (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK) to monitor our platform's health proactively. You will use predictive analytics and AI-driven tools to identify bottlenecks and bugs before they impact our customers.
• Champion Security & Quality: Integrate DevSecOps best practices into our workflows, using automated security scanning and vulnerability management to maintain the integrity of our platform and the sensitive data it holds. You will help us maintain our commitment to 99.9% uptime and near-zero critical bugs.
• Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with development and operations teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and shared ownership. As a key member of the team, you will help mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and elevating the team's capabilities.
• Innovate with Courage: Continuously evaluate and implement new DevOps tools and AI-driven methodologies to enhance our efficiency and developer experience. We encourage taking thoughtful risks and experimenting to find better solutions.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Expertise:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar cloud infrastructure role.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Storage, DNS, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Comfortable in managing bare-metal servers, virtualisation (e.g., KVM, Proxmox), and networking infrastructure (e.g., Mikrotik).
• Expertise in setting up and managing monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack).

AI & Modern DevOps Mindset:

• Experience or deep interest in using AI-powered tools for observability, automation, or anomaly detection.
• Curious and adaptable to emerging technologies that improve DevOps efficiency.
• Excellent communication in English and strong documentation habits.
• Collaborative spirit, proactive problem-solver, and driven by outcomes.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, distributed startup environment.
