Job summary

tiket.com is hiring a DevOps / System Engineer to build and manage scalable infrastructure hosted on GCP and AWS. You will install and maintain supporting apps such as HAProxy, MySQL, Nginx, Jenkins, and Consul, while deploying internal apps with Ansible and scripting in Bash or Python.

You will work with engineers to deploy code routinely, enhance monitoring, and drive automation to improve efficiency. Strong cloud experience and Kubernetes expertise are essential for this role, based in

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' experience in DevOps or System engineering with at least 1 year in a cloud-hosted environment.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization concepts.

Responsibilities

Your Main Duties In Flying With Us

• Build and manage infrastructure, running on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services
• Install, configure and manage supporting applications like HAProxy, MySQL, Nginx, Jenkins,
• Consul, Rundeck or any other necessary apps
• Deploy internal Apps with Ansible
• Implement any custom scripting with Bash or Python if needed
• Create and provide detailed documentation for every task
• Work along with software engineers to deploy code regularly
• Enhance monitoring tools across our servers
• Optimize our server build and code deploy process
• Implement auto-scaling techniques
• Analyze, design and evaluate automation scripts and systems
• Research new technologies that will improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Implement a highly scalable development environment
• Automation of regular duties and implementing them using gitops
• Exposure to MCP servers on Logging and Observability systems would be a plus point
• Usage of Gen AI to automation of incident evidence collection

Mandatory Belongings That You Must Prepare

• Min 0-2 years' experience (DevOps / System engineer) with 1 year of experience
• focused on cloud-hosted commercial facing environments
• Strong scripting with Bash, Python
• Strong with Orchestration like Kubernetes
• Experience with Cloud Platform: GCP
• Experience with NoSQL DB like MongoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL
• Strong with automated configuration management tools: Ansible
• Experience with Containerization Concepts like Docker
• Strong communication skills
