Job summary

tiket.com is seeking a DevOps/System Engineer to help scale our infrastructure for 50+ million users. You will work on Google Cloud, implement automation, and collaborate with software engineers to deploy code regularly.

If you have 0–2 years in DevOps, strong Bash/Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP experience, you’ll fit in. Familiarity with MongoDB/ElasticSearch/MySQL is a plus, along with GitOps practices.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of DevOps/Systems engineering experience, with at least 1 year in a related role.
• Focus on cloud-hosted commercial-facing environments.
• Strong scripting in Bash and Python.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience with GCP.
• Experience with NoSQL like MongoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL.
• Proficiency with Ansible.
• Experience with Docker.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud (and AWS).
• Install, configure and manage supporting apps like HAProxy, Nginx, Jenkins.
• Deploy internal apps with Ansible.
• Create and provide detailed documentation for every task.
• Work with software engineers to deploy code regularly.
• Enhance monitoring and optimize server build and code deploy processes.
• Implement auto-scaling techniques.
• Automate tasks using scripting and GitOps.
• Exposure to MCP servers on Logging/Observability would be a plus.
• Research new technologies to improve efficiency.

• Build and manage infrastructure, running on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services
• Install, configure and manage supporting applications like HAProxy, MySQL, Nginx, Jenkins,
• Consul, Rundeck or any other necessary apps
• Deploy internal Apps with Ansible
• Implement any custom scripting with Bash or Python if needed
• Create and provide detailed documentation for every task
• Work along with software engineers to deploy code regularly
• Enhance monitoring tools across our servers
• Optimize our server build and code deploy process
• Implement auto-scaling techniques
• Analyze, design and evaluate automation scripts and systems
• Research new technologies that will improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Implement a highly scalable development environment
• Automation of regular duties and implementing them using gitops
• Exposure to MCP servers on Logging and Observability systems would be a plus point
• Usage of Gen AI to automation of incident evidence collection

Mandatory belongings that you must prepare:
