Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a university student (minimum 5th semester) in Visual Communication Design or related field.
• Solid understanding of composition, color, typography, hierarchy and balance.
• Proficient in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva or similar.
• Able to translate information into clear, engaging visual content and follow brand guidelines.

Job Description:

• Develop visual assets for editorial content, program promotions, and news coverage by applying design principles and Garuda TV’s visual identity. Be involved in daily content production for various digital platforms, including social media designs, thumbnails, carousels, infographics, and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with the team throughout the concept development, production, revision, and finalization processes. Manage the creative workflow systematically and independently to produce visual materials that are engaging, informative, consistent, and aligned with the needs and standards of the broadcasting industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating visual assets for social media and program promotion needs.
• Create designs for social media, thumbnails, carousels, infographics, and data visualizations.
• Support the production and publication of daily content across various digital platforms.
• Adapt designs to the organization’s visual identity and brand standards.
• Assist with the revision and finalization of visual materials in collaboration with the Digital team.
• Stay updated on social media trends to support the development of content ideas and concepts.
• Ensure that produced content is engaging, informative, and appropriate for each platform.

Requirements

• Active university student, minimum 5th semester, majoring in Visual Communication Design, Multimedia, Communication Studies, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Understanding of basic design principles, including composition, color, typography, visual hierarchy, and balance.
• Proficient in one or more design applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity, Figma, Canva, or similar tools.
• Able to create designs for various social media formats.
• Creative and able to translate information into clear and easy-to-understand visual content.
• Able to work based on briefs and follow the organization’s visual identity.
• Able to complete tasks within deadlines.
• Willing to provide a design portfolio.
• Have adequate working equipment and a reliable internet connection.
