Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related).
• Proven experience in engineering drafting and design.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail for precise drawings.
• Understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration.
• Problem-solving abilities in design challenges.
• Experience with 3D modelling and rendering is advantageous.
• Familiarity with project management and design documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings and design documentation using CAD software and engineering tools.
• Perform analyses and calculations to support design decisions and feasibility.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to refine designs based on feedback.
• Prepare design specifications, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specs.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team and clients.
• Maintain organised design documentation and project files.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and design presentations for clients.
• Participate in design reviews to improve quality and efficiency.
