Overview

Job Purpose: Support the Head of Design in leading, managing, and overseeing the creative and technical aspects of the design team, ensuring high-quality outputs that align with company standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Design in managing daily operations of the design department.
• Supervise and mentor junior and senior designers to maintain design quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (project management, marketing, engineering, etc.) to ensure design objectives are met.
• Review, approve, and provide feedback on design proposals, drawings, and presentations.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and revision processes to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Drive innovation by researching and implementing new design trends, tools, and methodologies.
• Support in resource allocation, recruitment, and performance evaluation within the design team.
• Step in as acting Head of Design when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Proven experience in a senior design leadership role (5+ years preferred).
• Strong creative vision combined with practical project management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
