Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group is seeking a Dental Technician to deliver high-quality dental laboratory services within our outpatient department. You will assist clinicians, prepare tools and materials, and help ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Technology, prior experience in a dental/healthcare setting, and meticulous attention to detail in crafting dental appliances.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Dental Technology is required.
• Experience as a dental technician or similar role preferred.
• Expertise with dental lab equipment and materials is essential.
• High attention to detail for precise construction and fitting of dental devices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dental nursing and outpatient care in line with nursing quality and safety standards.
• Receive patients at the nurse station and prepare service according to standards.
• Perform initial patient assessments to determine priority needs and inform service order.
• Analyze assessment data to plan and perform nursing actions to prevent deterioration.
• Assist doctors by providing tools and materials and accompanying examinations.
• Document treatment steps before, during, and after procedures for history and statistics.
• Educate patients and families to ensure smooth healing and continuity of care.
• Collect data and report on operational activities for accountability.
• Adhere to quality and safety procedures and participate in training and data collection.
