Job summary

BW Digital Pte Limited is seeking a DC Connectivity Supervisor for its Batam, Indonesia office. The role involves on-site supervision of end-to-end connectivity cabling installations across the NDP1 campus, ensuring safety, timeliness, and alignment with hyperscale standards.

Reporting to the Project Director, Connectivity based in Sydney, you will coordinate contractors and vendors, maintain project documentation, and collaborate with connectivity PMs to meet budget and quality targets.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience of telecoms project management.
• Experience delivering projects with construction activities.
• Experience in managing contractors and suppliers within defined budgets and scopes.
• Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to cultural requirements.
• Exposure to Project Management tools and functions; professional PM qualifications would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide the on-site direction and guidance for the end-to-end delivery of connectivity cabling installations across the NDP1 site, including the Data Halls, MMRs, network rooms, and campus interconnections between Modules and Buildings.
• Ensure project activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with hyperscale standards and client design requirements.
• Manage cabling contractors, installation partners, and telecommunications vendors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements, construction schedules, and health and safety standards.
• Maintain all relevant project documentation such as project risks, change requirements, progress reporting and forecasting
• Work with BW Digital’s Connectivity Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure that any project is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest achievable standards.

The DC Connectivity Supervisor is a full-time role and will be part of the BWD Connectivty team reporting to the Project Director, Connectivity based in Sydney, Australia.

Location

This role is based in our offices in Batam, Indonesia.

Overview

The Connectivity Supervisor, reports to the Project Director, Connectivity. This role sits within the Connectivity Business Unit and will be based in Batam, Indonesia at the NDP1 Data Centre campus. The role will be responsible for the on-site connectivity project delivery activities within the Data Centre.

Key Responsibilities

The DC Connectivity Supervisor has the following key responsibilities:

• Provide the on-site direction and guidance for the end-to-end delivery of connectivity cabling installations across the NDP1 site, including the Data Halls, MMRs, network rooms, and campus interconnections between Modules and Buildings.
• Ensure project activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with hyperscale standards and comply with BWD’s Facility rules, industry standards and client design requirements.
• Manage cabling contractors, installation partners, and telecommunications vendors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements, construction schedules, and health and safety standards.
• Maintain all relevant project documentation such as project risks, change requirements, progress reporting and forecasting
• Work with BW Digital’s Connectivity Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure that any project is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest achievable standards.

Qualifications & Experiences

• At least 2 years’ experience of telecoms project management
• Demonstrated experience of successful project delivery, highlighting construction activities
• Demonstrated experience in managing contractors and suppliers within defined project budgets and scopes
• Sharp attention to detail and able to work within tight deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously and remotely to agreed objectives
• Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to cultural requirements
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills, particularly with a large workforce split across multiple work areas and 24×7 operations
• Exposure to Project Management tools and functions
• Any professional project management qualifications would be an advantage
